Even with high-priced dollar, the number of Brazilians willing to invest or reside in the United States to escape from the crisis in Brazil does not stop increasing. Considering this scenario, the Florida Government started an aggressive campaign to bite a slice of this opportunity through the Central Florida Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce (CFBACC).

“Florida is one of the most prosperous states of the United States, and many people are not aware of our business potential in the corporate environment, apart from tourism. That’s what we want to promote,” said Laiz Rodrigues, CFBACC president. The executive will open the “Doing Business with Central Florida” event on October 26 with the “Orlando, You don’t know the half of it” lecture that will introduce the investment areas with high potential for Brazilians including real estate and health industries, among others.

More than just introducing business opportunities to Brazilians, the event aims to clarify questions, such as the requirements to get an investor visa (EB-5) or make remittances between countries. The schedule will be divided in the October 26, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and October 27 and 28, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Radisson Hotel in São Paulo.
